Strategy-making is dynamic. Organisations need to be adaptable to changes in their situation and responsive to challenges and opportunities. Continually assessing where the organisation is on its strategy journey, what progress it is making, what it might face around the next corner, how it might overcome obstacles, whether it needs to change its route – all these are part of the art of effective strategic management in an agile organisation.
